NICE BROOK TROUT

Another E. Branch Brookie

E. BRANCH OF THE CLARION

On the way home, we stopped at the E. Branch of the Clarion for 1 last fish.
Upon our arrival, at Bendigo State Park, we were surprised to see that the small weir dam had been removed, as you can see in the pic.
It sure did not effect the fishing though!!
A perfect ending for a perfect weekend.
Catch and release was the standard.

FISH ON !!

When the weather cooperated, during the week, we did manage to do pretty well.
Here is Cuz Chuck landing a chunky Brown Trout.

IT WAS A LITTLE WET OUT THERE

The weather has not cooperated since before the opening day of Trout Season here in Pa.
Cold and heavy rains have been has been the standard . Not really conducive for good trout fishing.
The cousin trip was no different. We caught our share of fish , but we had to fish in a limited areas, towards the upper reaches of the streams.
I think Cuz Chuck was wondering why we were at this section of the creek!

POLISH PLATTER

Fishing was fair but the eating was great.
Tom G. is dishing out our Polish platter of Pieroghis, Haluski, and a Kielbasi concoction to Jack G.
