14 DEGREES

Joe and I headed up to camp to open it up for the season. Fresh snow had fallen, and temps were in the teens upon our arrival. After a partial unload of supplies, and quick inspection of camp, we headed to the well house to get water flowing to the camp. Everything went rather smoothly, and camp was officially opened.
It felt great to get back up to the Northern Tier of Pa.

POTATO CREEK

Only 20 more days until the opening day of trout season and I can't wait to go.
Potato Creek was looking goooood!!

HIKE IN THE WOODS

Joe and I took a 3 mile hike Saturday morning to search for new hunting areas. After walking about half way through a Game Commission food plot, and 1/4 mile of brush busting, we came upon this heavily wooded area. It looks very promising. We nosed around, and liked what we saw. This area will move high up on our list for both bear and deer.

LONG BEARDS

Butch W. of Port Matilda, Pa. sent me these pics taken in his back yard today. Glad to see the wildlife is looking rather healthy after the harsh winter we are having. Butch said, after these left, 20 more showed up, but no long beards.
See you opening week of Trout Butch. (nice pics)
